Be successful.

Everyone experiences it – the thought of starting and owning your own business brings so much joy and initial excitement that you simply can’t wait to make it official and let people know about it. But wait a minute…you surely don’t think you can just wake up tomorrow and open your business, do you? What about the all important steps that you have to take prior to opening for business? All that planning? All those expenses? All those long days and nights of thinking and business-plan-creating? This is where most people realize that as amazing as it is to own your own business, there is so much work there has to go into it. But don’t worry, the truly passionate people wake up every single day looking forward to taking that next step and making their business dreams become a reality. I went through my initial “phase”, if you will, but I got some great news, I’m still overly excited! I’m so excited I can’t even sleep sometimes at night because I’m thinking about my business and all the great things I did the and all the wonderful things I have planned for tomorrow. Are you one of those type of people who simply can’t get creating and building your business off your mind? Are you in love with making your dreams come true?

You, my friend, are in the beginning stages of experiencing what it takes to be successful. That inner drive, passion, and work ethic will take you a long way, especially when it comes to overcoming any temporary failures which you will undoubtedly face, that entrepreneurial spirit will never let you down. Why? Because you will ALWAYS look for a solution! Remember, in life, there is always a way, you just have to LOOK for it! As they say “where there’s a will, there’s a way”. So true!

I am thrilled to report that I have accomplished SO MUCH over the past 10 days – ever since I took the aggressive approach in making my dream business become a reality. That dream business is to be the owner of my own leisure group travel club, which I have officially named as World Travelers United. I have so much information in my head and have the necessary steps ready to be executed as I continue down this path of owning my own business, I feel absolutely great. From obtaining my business license, to registering with the proper seller of travel permits within the state of Washington, to ensuring that my business entity is legally structured, I have learned so much in the past 10 days, and I’m so happy where I’m at given the time I’ve been doing this. My business aptitude is growing by the day!

I feel a real sense of accomplishment, and tomorrow brings another set of important things to do. I can’t wait to contact (again) the Department of Licensing, the Department of Revenue, and The Berkeley Group to have my NEW 20+ questions answered – I’m a pretty curious guy and want to make sure I do EVERYTHING right in the setup phase. I am almost there, once I get this information, voila! I will be off and running in no time. I do have an important Small business meeting with SCORE next week which will extremely valuable as they are going to help me review my business plan and get a better idea of the vision I have for my business.
